Auckland's last undiscovered rural region is a peninsula called Awhitu, which means 'a longing'. Visit and you too will long for more. Big Bay Motor Camp is situated 40kms from Waiuku, on fully sealed roads. Come out and enjoy a family camp in quiet park like settings. Take time out to listen to the birds in the trees. Beautiful beach walks. Good fishing. Safe swimming beach with white sand. Sports are also catered for with Awhitu Golf course 5 minutes up the road, Grahams Beach Bowling Club and tennis courts all within easy reach. Take a leisurely drive to the tip of the Manukau Heads where the Lighthouse has recently been reborn after 132 years. Big Bay Motor Camp is a member of the Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of New Zealand.
