We have clean modern facilities, large dry sites. We are pet friendly, although you need to book your pets in, and we give you FREE HOT SHOWERS included in our price (there are no extra hidden site or other charges). Being half way up the Aupouri Penninsula we are in the perfect location to base your Far North adventures from. Come home after a great day to relax in a peaceful setting. We make the time to make sure your holiday is the best we can give you.
Enjoy the choice of east and west coast beaches. Surfing, swimming, snorkelling, shell collecting, shellfish gathering, tramping and walking. You wont believe how quiet our beaches are; the golden sands of Henderson Bay, to the crystal white sands of Rarawa Beach. Yours might be the only footprints as you stroll the sands or run with the kids to the surf. Ask us, we can suggest days of fun or adventure what-ever your budget. You can explore on your own, or have a tour guide. Let us help you plan your trip to Cape Reinga, 90 Mile Beach and to sand surf the Giant Te Paki Sand Dunes.
Our local knowledge will help you explore our treasures. Take a fishing adventure – chose from the excitement of a boat trip or the hidden landbased secret spots; a Quadbike trip to the Dazzling White Sands of Parengarenga. Kayak in sheltered harbours, or around the coastline, try horse trekking through the Aupouri Forest and out onto 90 Mile Beach. You will be happy to come back to a good hot shower and soft green lawns. The kids can enjoy playing with Rambo the sheep or feeding the chooks! Check us out on Facebook. | Driving and location information |
Pukenui Holiday park is on SH1, about 40 minutes north of Kaitaia, and 5 hours north of Auckland, you just head for Cape Reinga!! The holiday park is well signposted at the local shops in the Pukenui township. Turn left off SH1 at the Pukenui shops onto Lamb Road, we are 200 metres from the main road.
