WAGENER HOLIDAY PARK - HOUHORA HEADS
Stay on the waterfront just 40km North of Kaitaia at Houhora Heads (just 12km from 90mile beach). The Motorcamp is next door to Wagener Park and the historic Wagener-Subritzky homestead. It features harbourview or secluded sites, cabins with magic views, surf beach and safe swimming, hire bikes, fishing gear, body and sand boards,kayaks and golf clubs. The long, wide beaches are excellent for horse riding, as are the nearby state forests. Several local guides offer tours and have sedate mounts available.
Hire fishing rods are available for surf casting off the beach - local boat fishing and diving charters are available.
We have kayaks available for hire and the adjacent beach is popular with surfers- if the waves are from the wrong quarter there are usually several other options available nearby.
The Wagener Holiday Park is a member of the Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of New Zealand.
