An ideal base for Bay of Islands tours, fishing, beaches, walks, galleries, cafes, restaurants, heritage sites. Dolphin, Hole in the Rock and Bay of Islands cruises and tours depart from the Russell Wharf, as well as passenger ferries to Paihia. Tour booking office on site. We are an authentic style Kiwi holiday park, with spacious sites, BBQ and leisure areas and lots of room for kids to run around in, together with a simple playground, flying fox and pool. The Bay of Islands offers year sea and land based fishing and the Orongo Bay Holiday Park has room to park and store boats and trailers together with a fish cleaning area and smokehouse. Prolific birdlife including endangered North Island wekas. Pets by arrangement. Orongo Bay Holiday Park is a member of Family Parks and the Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of New Zealand.
