Whangarei is quite literally the city of 100 beaches– and we know all the ‘secret spots’, where you could have the white sand and turquoise water to yourself all day! If that sounds too relaxing, you could see the famous Whangarei Falls, take a tour out to see the largest sea cave in the world, dive or snorkel at the heralded Poor Knights Islands, browse art galleries and museums, visit the Zion Lion Park (outstanding!), tour an award-winning Winery and so much more.
Bring your tent or motorhome and make use of our excellent facilities, or stay in the comfort of one of our cabins, self-contained units or well-equipped Park Motels. We have wireless broadband internet throughout the park, making it easy to stay in touch with home or work (heaven forbid!)
With the bush-clad hills as our backdrop and a lovely river running just behind our park, you’d never know we are just 5 minutes drive from the Quayside, Whangarei Town Basin– where great restaurants and cafes overlook the picturesque marina.
